Welcome To My Website

I am new to photography, and this is my personal website to show my works for those that are interested in viewing them.  I take an average of about 50 to 100 photos a week, so it was impossible to show them all, but these are available for viewing at this time.

A lot of the below pictures were taken for entry to a local fair.  At this time, I have only been slightly familiar with my FujiFilm Finepix 3800 Digital for 4 weeks now.  I barely know how to operate the manual functions.  I know little about composition, saturation, depth of perception, etc.   This camera came to me by happenstance without bells and whistles.  I hope to get a better zoom lense for it in the future as well.  Once I find the manual for my camera on-line, I will know more.   I also plan on taking a photography class soon. 

As you can see, I am still learning about "art" in photography verses plain snapshots, and much of that will be seen
in the below photos as well.  A lot of these below photos have had no editing done to them to date.  I may do that at a later time, but just so you know that most of these are raw.

  Under "misc...." photos, you will see some odd shots.  Many of these were done for specific contest themes, but I thought you would enjoy seeing them.

You will also see that some color shots are also in the black and white category.  This was done because I liked them in both color and black and white.

As I continue to learn the craft of photography, I hope to have many more photos added to this site.
